That amazing salad was nearly $20 but the service charge on top of that left too bad a taste in my mouth.

The food and service were above average. The bacon cheeseburger was the best I've had in Windsor despite being well done. The pizza was mediocre but the Mediterranean wrap was amazing. The mulled wine was phenomenal, very well done. The cheese curds and the totchos were the best thing I had this visit. I will definitely be back to try more off the menu, only real down sides are it's a bit pricey for the quantity you get and it's gets really loud.

After golfing 9 holes on The Falls Monday afternoon we stopped by the Sandbar for some libations and food. Probably about 7:30 when we sat down. We grabbed a seat at the fire pit and proceeded to hang out and talk for about 30 minutes with no one coming over to take drink orders. Eventually one of our party went to find someone. Got drinks. Gave our food order. Now keep in mind it's pretty dead here on a Monday night. We ordered chips and Salsa as an appetizer. Took about 40 minutes for our food to come. Honestly it just feels like they don't care.

Went for happy hour. Always a great setting whether inside or out but the deck is my favorite. Mountain, lake and golf course views. However usually leave a bit disappointed with the food. They did our calamari twice but it was never brown and crispy as it should be in our opinion. Some fun summer drink specials would be great with the beautiful setting.
