Good authentic Mexican food and very reasonably priced! The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The food was delicious and presented very well! The staff was professional, attentive, and very kind! If you haven't been to this restaurant you need to go, well worth it!
Excellent food and great service. Fairly priced and always satisfied after eating here. Portions are large as well. This is the only Mexican restaurant we will go to in Windsor. The rest are not even close!
An amazing find. The owners are extremely friendly. The tacos tastes devine. I would definitely go back again if I were in these parts again
Unfortunately this place has went down hill as of late. Being a lover of Mexican food and a Windsor local, this has always been high on the list of places to get good authentic Mexican food. The food is still great, but the last 3 visits have been extremely rushed by the wait staff. For example, we get seated, and before we’re even offered waters we’re being asked what we want to order for our main course… no drink order, no offer of cocktails, just strait to the main course. Unfortunately this is kind of the name of the game here across the entire dining experience, no offers for anything other than dinner. Probably the last time we’ll be going for a while, especially with other good Mexican within 5 min of this location.
We have been to this restaurant several times and I have given them good reviews before, but can't after last night's dinner. Normally the food is good, portions are good and staff is always friendly. Last night our waitress took our order and we never saw her again. When we asked where she was, we were told perhaps she went home. The remaining staff did try to take care of us but no one ever came back to ask how our food was. My husband ordered the trio to include a cheese enchilada and got beef instead. He didn't say anything because he likes the beef also. I ordered the seafood quesadilla which was more cheese than anything. I found 1 small piece of scallop each in two different pieces. We eventually got someone to get us a to-go-box and then had to wave someone down to bring us our bill again after that. We never saw Rosie our waitress again. To top it off the table next to us had a baby that cried the entire hour plus we were there. I felt more sorry for them than anything as the baby actually sounded sick with perhaps some congestion. People all around us were not happy with the crying baby. This is a family restaurant and very children oriented so I am not surprised management never came by. After they finally brought us our check, we got out a card to pay and sat there for another 10 minutes. Both of us had enough of the crying baby and were able to put together the cash need plus tip for the waitress that left us high and dry and got up to leave. We asked the young man who had been trying to help us some if we could speak to a manager, but he seemed stretched thin as he was scrambling trying to help a lot of people. After sitting for a while, we got up to leave and here he came out. We explained that we didn't understand why Rosie had deserted us with no explanation. The manager and another waitress began conversing back and forth in Spanish with me standing in between and didn't address us at all. Kind of the icing on the cake, we just left and honestly, probably won't be back. There are several new Mexican restaurants recently opened up within 10 miles or so from this location, so we will be trying them out instead.
