I’ve honestly never had a worse experience in my life. I ordered a pizza box from here spending about $25. It all came in the same box. I have a severe allergy and explained this multiple times while ordering. When the order came, I opened it and immediately noticed a mushroom pizza. This wasn’t like a piece was on the stove and got on it, there were pieces imbedded in the pizza. Basically - a mushroom pizza. I immediately called and explained the situation and was told that I was LYING and that the person who made the pizza insisted he hadn’t made anything with mushrooms. I was very confused by this comment…like do I carry a bag of what I’m allergic to around and just dump it on my food? I asked to speak to the manager on duty, who told me it was a cross contamination issue. Cross contamination is not a whole mushroom pizza, smothered in mushrooms. It’s a small piece that was here and there and got slipped in. She also told me I was incorrect. I explained I would like my money back as now I can’t eat anything in the box because there was my allergen everywhere. She said she would refund me (keep this in mind). The next day I noticed not a refund - but another charge for $10 on my card. I had proof from my bank it was not a refund, but a charge. When I called her, she told me that it was a refund and she “had no idea I wanted a refund for the whole order” when the order WAS TOGETHER IN THE SAME BOX! the refund wasn’t even as much as a actual pizza costs! When I finally said she needed to refund it all, she sent me receipts, along with a passive aggressive comment of “do not respond or email this person anymore.” What the hell kind of customer service is this? I truly hope the owner knows what kind of people work here. You do realize that allergies are serious right? Apparently not.
Great place to eat in or carry out. Very friendly staff who don't have nasty nose piercings and weird hair and smile like they're enjoying their job. The prices are surprisingly reasonable and the food is hot and fresh. Well done Pizza Hut of Windsor!
Pizza took almost 2 hours to be delivered. When I called the store to cancel my order because I was tired of waiting, I was told since my order was already made they couldn't refund it. When my food did finally arrive, of course it was cold because it had been made 2 hours before I received it! I also ordered a jug of sweet tea with my food and I didn't even get that. Save your money and time and don't order pizza from the pizza hut in Windsor.
Never have I had such horrible customer service. The website messed up my order and after waiting an hour, I called them, and the manager Nate, was incredibly rude and dismissive. He spoke over me and ultimately didn’t even wait for the end of my sentence before deciding to cancel my order and cut me off saying “well you probably don’t want an hour old pizza anyway.” It’s like he was looking for a cancelled order to get free food or something.
Went in for lunch today, there was a table leaving when we sat down and 2 others, so 3 tables including us. We were there for 90 minutes. I had to get our own booster seat for our kid. We ordered cheese sticks and a large pizza. The sticks came out without marinara and we weren’t given plates. We had to ask for both. We also had to ask for silverware. We had to get our own refills. Our food was undercooked. Once we got our silverware, we didn’t see a waiter again until another table found the waiter on his phone to ask for their box. The table that left when we arrived hadn’t been cleaned the entire time we were there. This was an insanely disappointing and frustrating experience.
