These donuts my husband and I both agreed were better than Lamars. They were soft and fresh. I liked the plain glaze. I feel like you can really tell a donut spot by their plain glaze. Croissant glazed was fun and i enjoyed that one as well. The apple fritter was too sweet for my liking. I like when the apple chunks still taste like apple not just cinnamon sugar. Very small selection at 11am.

Disappointing. The apple fritter was flat as a pancake and burnt. There is really no good excuse to serve this to a customer. It should have ended up in the bin, because that's where it ended up after two bites.
Glazed donuts are on par with Walmart bakery donuts. That's not necessarily a bad thing but charging twice as much as Walmart isn't a good thing. Other assorted donuts were okay.
Too expensive for the quality.
I'll give them another try sometime, and if I have a better experience, I'll update my review.

If you’re looking for the best donuts in northern Colorado, this is it! We’ve literally tried em all. It’s quite the drive for us but so worth it. They’re not too sweet, don’t leave that nasty coating in your mouth and just taste like real donuts. I’m eating a Lamar donut as I’m writing this, they’re so so bad they sure make you appreciate Mr. Yo’s a whole lot more.

Best donuts in Colorado! The cronut is my favorite :) I highly recommend getting there early thought, right when they open as they sell out quickly. You can always call in advance to place an order / make sure they have what you want.

If you want any selection of donuts here you legitimately have the be there the moment it opens in order to choose from the 2 dozen donuts they make for the day. It feels as though this place is a hobby location for the owner, makes just a few donuts and is only open when it wants to be, despite its posted hours. The Safeway across the street should be stoked for Mr. Yo’s being there as it gets all of the business Mr. Yo’s turns away from its abysmal lack of selection and fickle business hours.
Furthermore, take a look through the other reviews that aren’t 5 stars over the years and you will see that every single one of them complains about my exact same issues. This is clearly an ongoing issue that is not being addressed and corrected.
Someone please open another donut shop in Windsor and I’ll love to give you my business!
