I was very excited to find this taco shop that has many gluten-free options. I was also surprised that this is a chain and has several locations in Colorado. After looking over the gluten-free menu, I chose the chicken nachos and a breakfast taco with potatoes and eggs. The staff are very friendly and helpful, explaining the menu options or modifications. I personally like black beans on my nachos, not just chicken. It is an up charge but worth the extra 1.50. Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely! But don't take my word for it. Go try for yourself.
My wife is turned off by the name, but I finally got to try Fuzzy's - and it's good! Far more than tacos, I would call it Generic Urban Mexican Food In A Nice Environment. My queso-covered ground-beef enchilada was good, and so was the taco. The refried beans weren't bad. I wasn't crazy about the Mexican rice. My daughter's chicken nachos were good, but many places do nachos better. Would I go again? Yeah. Is it my new favorite Mexican food restaurant? Not even close. BTW, you walk in and order at a counter, and they want to be tipped then - before any service has been rendered. That's inappropriate.
Definitely decent food but doesn’t blow my socks off. Fast and reasonably priced but you’ve got to use a ton of sauces or dips to add any flavor what so ever to the food, but the sauces are not very good in my opinion. The chips and queso are ok. They put seasoning on the chips but very sparingly. If there was more on all the chips not just in spots, it would be tastier. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito with potato smothered in queso. It was very bland. Tried it with their green and red sauce and neither really hit the spot for me 🤷🏼♂️ My buddy had the bacon breakfast burrito with potato smothered in queso and he felt the same. Bland and not much flavor. He wasn’t a huge fan of the sauces either. My other friend had the shrimp taco. He thinks fuzzys is amazing and he’s the reason we came here… I’m not a huge fan of seafood on Mexican food so I didn’t try what he had. He would sell his kidney for fuzzy shrimp tacos. Overall decent but won’t go out of my way to eat here again but wouldn’t say no if it was the only option. Great service and friendly staff.
We love coming to this place. The food is good quality and service is quick. A variety of drinks to choose from you can come here with family or friends.
BAD. Would NOT recommend. We ordered a breakfast burrito and a brisket salad. They took forever to be ready. They tried to give our food to someone else. Both of our items were wrong and when we brought it to their attention they tried to blame other staff. Instead of apologizing and making it right. I wish I could say the food was worth it, but it was not. Even if they offered free food for life, I would Never go here again.
