I really hate writing this review but it’s necessary. I’ve eaten here a few times and they were all bad but tonight was the worst. I ordered egg rolls but got a fried sausage log. I ordered Chicken in Garlic Sauce and there was zero flavor, it was actually gross to eat. The Sesame Chicken was soggy and just didn’t taste good at all. I’m so disappointed. I hate leaving bad reviews. I won’t be giving this place another chance. I’m throwing away $80 worth of food and ordering pizza instead.
It's really hard to find good Chinese food anymore. This place is pretty good. Incredible service decent food super fast. 100% recommend over anything else in Windsor.
PHOTOS INCLUDED... I ordered Egg Foo Young and I received 1 single Egg pancake with an enormous bowl of gravy with an abundance of large rubbery canned derived mushrooms. The pancake was more like cornbread and to my surprise didn't appear to have any egg at all. It was very dense, clearly made with flour and terribly bland. I called Asian Pearl thinking they mistakenly didn't include 2 more pancakes and I was told that how they serve it. Most businesses are struggling during the pandemic but I feel like I've been cheated. I also ordered Pad Thai and it tasted nothing like Pad Thai and was bland in general. There were soggy veggies in it with a sweet sauce. No one would eat it Finally I got Orange Tofu. It was fried tofu in sweet and bitter orange sauce. The dish had a large burnt, black orange peel sitting in it with burnt red peppers in it. The spring rolls were ok. I feel cheated paying for disgusting cheap ingredients with very poor food preparation. Without hyperbole, this is be far the worst Chinese I've ever had. Mostly inedible. I strongly recommend not patronizing this place for a strong risk of annoyance and disappointment.
Their orange chicken is phenomenal! We ordered sesame chicken and I think I got orange chicken instead, though I'm not 100% sure. I wish I was because whatever it was is now my favorite! Their sweet and sour chicken is also wonderful! Their garlic beef is ok, a little bland for my taste. Same with the chicken lo mein (not a fan of the chicken in that). The wontons are good - not sure if it has real crab so my husband can't have it (shellfish allergy). My husband absolutely loves their beef pho (even likes more than Young's). This is our go-to! Haven't tried any others in Windsor and don't need to. Insanely good prices for the amount of food you get, and their beers are only $3.75! They have combos where you can get wontons, egg rolls, rice & your main dish - I may try this next time since it's so much food ordered separately. Side benefit, they have giant koi fish that they let kids feed in the entrance which was really cool!
The food was very disappointing. None of it was recognizable as what I ordered. The fried rice was incredibly bland and mushy. The food is also over-priced considering the quality. Definitely will not eat here again.
