****Update: Management followed up from review and offered gift card for us to try again. They do acknowledge the poor quality and are trying to make it right. Only giving one star because the two young people that helped when I returned were very polite (and you can't leave no stars)and couldn't believe that the pizza we were given was served - they both even said, "I wouldn't eat that!" This was our second time trying Anthony's - thought we'd give it one more go. Left very disappointed yet again - due to the same issue we had the first time. Pizza was absolutely inedible. Then, when we returned with it they said they could either make another one, which would take about 40 minutes, or I could pick something off of the menu for about the same cost. No refund or gift card, so we were out money from a pizza that would've fed 2-3 people and subbed with pasta for 1, which was less than the pizza so out food and money. They said they couldn't give a refund or gift card because of the app that is used on their website for orders. Very frustrating....extremely disappointed yet again.....adding pictures of a couple of slices my son grabbed and tried to eat - the ENTIRE pizza looked like this:
I always get the chicken Alfredo. It's so good. They need work on the garlic bread though. I was afraid I was going to break a tooth. I couldn't even bite into it. My son got a slice of the thick sicilian with sausage and said it was really good. He returned a couple days later and got it again. Our granddaughter got the neopoitan and loved that.
****EDIT**** Someone from Anthony’s corporate team reached out to me. We ended up going back to give it another try and it was excellent! We’ve been back 4-5 times since and each time was very good. I think the original experience was a fluke. Increased rating, great pizza and now our go-to spot for pizza and cheese bread! Where are the toppings and why is it all cold? $1.30 for three half slices of tomato? $1.30 for missing garlic? $6.00 for cold hard mozzarella sticks? I wouldn’t recommend this place. I showed up 8 minutes earlier than my pickup time and the food was already boxed and ready to go. Perhaps they cooked it an hour ahead of time and let it all sit.
Our pizza was so burnt we had to use a butcher knife to cut it and it was still difficult. I do not recommend this place for pizza. But what I do recommend to get is there cheese bread
We have ordered from here multiple times in the past 3-4 months. Not only has the product steadily gone down hill, the delivery process is a complete and utter joke. Tonight was no exception, maybe the worst yet. Ordered at 5:47pm with a delivery time of 45 minutes we received our delivery At 7:35pm nearly 2 hours after we placed our order. We called at 7pm to check on order and we’re told that received a rush after we had placed our order. Not sure how that effects our order. When we received our order it was dry, cold and burnt on The bottom. I would recommend that you run, not walk away from Anthony’s as quickly as possible. With other options available, in this economy, you can certainly do much better.
